CSforAR Summer Professional Development Offerings

As the summer approaches, we wanted to remind you all that we have several free computer science professional development options for Arkansas educators! Throughout the coming weeks we will be sharing information on all of our PD offerings, as well as sharing them across our social media channels. The first to be highlighted is our K-8 Lead Teacher Training and Bonus Program. Upon completion of the program, teachers will have the opportunity to apply for a $2,000 bonus! Please be sure to view the detailed information for this program found in COM-22–002 https://adecm.ade.arkansas.gov/ViewApprovedMemo.aspx?Id=4827.

Share your excitement and enthusiasm for computer science by becoming a lead teacher in your district. Let us help you create a foundation of computer science knowledge, integrate CS into various content areas, become a master of CS tools, and build a toolkit of lesson plans, projects, budgets and event plans. Various physical and digital tools will be used, though on-site physical devices are not required for the training. This 5 day, 30-hour professional development will be offered July 18–22, 2022.
