Black History Month Resources for Computer Science

--

The CSforAR Team just finished up two new resources.

For Grades 5–12 — First is a choice board to celebrate Black History Month in Computer Science and can be found here: https://bit.ly/BHnCS2022. We selected four individuals who played significant roles in the field of computer science. Linked to each person in a biography, video, and book or podcast. To the right are four activities. Choose to do one or all the activities. Each activity link will explain the activity and provide resources needed. Each activity can be done for one or all the people listed. And don’t miss the Digital Notebook linked in the Research activity. It’s one of my personal favorites.

For Grades K-4. This set of activities goes along with the book The Girl With a Mind for Math: The story of Raye Montague. Included are 14 different activities for Literacy and STEM. Check out that link here: https://bit.ly/RayeMontagueBookActivities
